Juicy J eventually became affiliated with Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang, appeared on a #1 single alongside Katy Perry, and took a series of his solo records to platinum and gold status. Shortly after that release, both men started delving into solo pursuits. The two founders of the group ( with the late Lord Infamous) had become the most recognized figures in the Memphis, Tennessee collective. At the time, the Sony Records collective had whittled down to two rapping and producing members: DJ Paul and Juicy J.
